Hello new, exciting world of tumblr! It’s nice to finally meet you. I have heard great things about you…please don’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure you won’t though.

Last week Lexie told me something very profound. She was talking about how routines drain the life out of people. How true is that? Every day, waking up and going through the same motions gets you to where you don’t even realize what you do. Life was not created to be that way! Lexie said that every morning when we get up, we are given a certain amount of God-charge to use in our day. Instead of recognizing this energy for what it is, we treat it as regular old charge that’s nothing special and runs out quick. But life’s not intended to be lived that way! We can use that big, beautiful God-charge to live life outside the box, exploring the unknown, being uncomfortable, and taking chances. Because it won’t run out! Ever. So I have come to a decision. I’m not going to treat God-given energy as just normal, everyday blah. Each day is something new and wonderful and special, and I’m going to start acting like it. What will happen if I start to look at life from a new perspective? Say, an upside down perspective? Turning the mundane into the wonderful, and making the most of each opportunity I get. We can do anything with God-charge! I think I just might even try ketchup on my eggs.
